George "Randy" Hay Obituary

SSG George “Randy” Hay, US Army Retired, 56, passed away on February 22, 2019 at Union Hospital. He was born on December 4, 1962 to George W. Hay (Chopper George) and Carolyn Feathers.  He is preceded in death by both parents as well as his grandchildren Blake and Brett Hay.  Randy leaves behind his wife Colleen Hay; children Kevin Hay, Sarah Hay, and Shawna Hay; Sisters Tammy Yates and Kelly Greene; Grandchildren Alaina Coffey and Madison Wycoff; Nieces and Nephews John and Jessica Copper, James and Jessica Martin, KorriAnn Martin, Steve Jones and Carolyn Yates; Great Nieces and Nephews Kailee Cooper, Kameryn Cooper, Addison Yates and Gabierl Jones as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Randy served honorably in the Army for 20 years. He loved riding his Harley any opportunity he had with his motorcycle buddies. He loved to spend time with his family. Randy liked to sit on his front porch in the mornings while listening to country music and drinking coffee. Visitation for Randy will be held on Monday, March 4 at Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave, from 5-6:00 PM with services beginning at 6. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Samaritan Funeral Home to help with the funeral cost.
