Mary Frances (Terstegge) Dwyer

Mary Frances Terstegge Dwyer, 72, of Terre Haute IN, passed away on June 16, 2019 after an extended illness. She was born on July 30, 1946 to Thomas Terstegge and Helen Schulte Terstegge in Terre Haute. Mary graduated in 1964 from Schulte High School; afterwards she attended Indiana State University. She married Michael Dwyer on September 18, 1965.

Mary is survived by her husband and their three children, Andrew Dwyer, Cheryl Drew (Jonathan), and Teresa Dwyer, and their four grandchildren, Conor, Monte, Kathleen and Evan. She leaves behind her siblings Ruth Woods (Mike), Katy Harden (Harold), Marie Swanger (Tom), and Jim Terstegge and her sisters-in-law Rhonda Terstegge and Melanie Wright, as well as several nieces’, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings Thomas Terstegge Jr and Jerry Terstegge, and her grandson Collin Walker. Mary was a long-time member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church and also attended St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Mary was an incredible person who loved spending time with her family.

Visitation will be Friday, June 21, 2019 from 12 – 2pm at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, with a funeral Mass at 2pm in the same location. The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Impact Multiple Sclerosis Now nonprofit to support Multiple Sclerosis research, 7516 Sumerset Lane Aubrey, Texas 76227, in care of Angie Parham.
