Pamela Sue Marcum 63, formerly of Indianapolis, Indiana and currently of Worthington, Indiana passed away peacefully in her sleep at 3:33 a.m. on July 14, 2019. She was born on April 7, 1956 at Community East Hospital to Norma Jean Bennett and Lester Waterman.
She is survived by her brother Norman Bennett, niece Jennifer Dawn Parks and children, nephew Jeremiah Bennett and children. Brother Lance Cool (Tracy), nephews Mike, Matt, Jarred and niece Ella.
Her two children Lynn Rhea (Chris Munson) and Cheryl DeBruhl (Daniel Debruhl). Nine Grandchildren: Daniel DeBruhl II, Drew DeBruhl (Amber),Dinah Yelton (David), Alexander Rhea, Nathan Whirley II, Bobby DeBruhl, Quintin DeBruhl, Donovan DeBruhl, James Biers. Five Great-grandchildren Dillon, Ariah, Demi, Dalton, Leia, and another great-grandchild to love due March of 2020 (Baby Whirley), as well as many close friends that were much like family to her. That she greatly cherished.
She was a lover of horses, reading, enjoyed Colts football, music, (Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac, Simon and Garfunkel, Patsy Cline, Melissa Ethridge) and many more. She enjoyed swimming, warm sandy beaches, and beautiful summer days. She Attended Arsenal Tech High School, some college, and was tax preparation certified. She worked many years at White Castle, INB/NBD Bank, and Celadon Trucking. She enjoyed getting to visit new places throughout her life, but especially enjoyed her trips to Las Vegas and California.
She has been cremated per her final wishes and will be returned to the earth on the sandy beaches of California in a private family gathering. She will be greatly missed by many, and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. Please feel free to join us in celebrating her life and to share memories and photos together.
Memorial Services Will Be Held at The Worthington Community Building located at 228 N. Dayton Street, Worthington, Indiana 47471 on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Cremation services provided by: Samaritan Affordable Funeral and Cremation Services. Memorial flowers and contributions can be made the day of services.
