Robert Cullison, 81, of Dugger passed away in his home on March 11, 2019. He was born on April 13, 1937 to George Cullison and Geneva (Stephens) Cullison. Robert is preceded in death by both parents; Brother Dan; Sister Jeanette; Grandson Dereck Earle and Son-in-law Terry Bailey as well as daughter-in-law Jackie Cullison. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Ruby (Bell) Cullison; Sons Bob Cullison and Jerry Cullison (Lisa); Daughters Pam Gilliland (Brian) and Kathy Earle; Brothers Donald, Ted and George; Sisters Rose, Betty, and Dixie; Grandchildren Jeff Souders (Rachel), Jerry Souders (Ashley) and Joshua Souders (Brittany), Allison Earle (Matt) and Shaylee Earle, Tiffany Burton, Tara Cullison, Autumn Cullison, and Sheena Winfrey (James); 12 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Robert worked for Greene Sullivan State Forrest as DNR for 35 years. He liked trading as well as raising catfish and koi. In fact he enjoyed raising all types of exotic animals, from pythons to a lion named Sampson who lived in their home. Robert was definitely a jokester. He loved his family especially when they brought him food. Per the family’s wishes cremation has been chosen for Robert. Samaritan Funeral Home will be assisting.
