William Brent Moore (Bill) son of the late Robert R. Moore and Martha Moore Tuttle, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday April 16th, surrounded by his children and family.Bill was a lifelong resident of Terre Haute, IN, having attended Collett Elementary, McLean Junior High, Garfield High School, and Indiana State University.  Bill worked for his father at Bob Moore’s Auto Sales in his early work life.  He eventually worked his way up to leadership positions in the trucking business.  In recent years he worked for Ernie May Insurance.An avid reader, Bill enjoyed any and all trivia.  He was an enthusiastic Chicago Cubs fan, traveling frequently to spring training in Arizona.  Bill was also known for his quick wit and keen sense of humor. Nothing made Bill happier than spending time with his beloved children, of whom he was so proud, and his three grandchildren.  Sunday family dinners were a not-to-be-missed event.Bill is survived by his children, Nicole Christine Hobson (Tony) of Terre Haute and Frederick William Moore (Lauren) of Nashville, TN, and grandchildren, Lila Grace Hurd, Olivia Hope Moore, and Owen Everett Hobson.  He is also survived by sisters, Cheryl Moore McLaughlin (Gordon) of Indianapolis and Abbi Moore Pell of Terre Haute and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sister Terry Lorraine Moore and brother Robert Foster Moore.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday May 5th, 2019 at The Landing from 3 to 8 PM.  Friends and family are welcome.
