Alberta R. Martin, 97. Of Terre Haute passed away Sunday September 25, 2016 at 5:35 am in Westminster Village. She was born July 1, 1919 in Terre Haute to Everett Willis Feller and Rose (Hershfield) Feller. She is survived by her daughters, Angela Kay Leeth (John) and Brenda Rae Herb (Rex) both of Terre Haute; a sister, Rosemarie Harvey; grandchildren, Kymberly Lieb (Robert "Bob"), Amelia "Amy" Herb (fiancAC. Prateek Mittal), and Jon Travis Herb (Jill); great grandchildren, Jack Herb, Ella Herb, Addie Herb, and Alma Herb and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 60 years, Ernest Wayne Martin who died April 7, 1999; sisters, Lucille McDonald and Waunita Newlin; brothers, Carl Feller and Everett "Bob" Feller and nephews, Roger McDonald and Ronald Newlin. Alberta was a life member of the BPOE Elks Lodge #86, a member of the Sycamore Club, Kerman Grotto Cauldrons and the Retired Railroader's Association and she was an avid NASCAR fan with her favorite driver being Jeff Gordon. Graveside services will be Wednesday September 28, 2016 at 11:00 am in Roselawn Memorial Park with Pastor Jeff Lee officiating. Burial will then be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave. is in charge of arrangements.
