Alvin Watkins 70, of Terre Haute went to be with the Lord on July 5th 2021.He was born on May 20, 1951 in Gary IN ,to Luke Watkins Sr. and Minnie Watkins. He is preceded in death by both parents. Alvin is survived by his companion,Marita Loftson ,siblings Inell Reed(Tommy) of Danville Ill. ,Lillian Rose Abraham and Charles Watkins both of Colfax LA., Eugene Ballard (Jessie),Carolyn Murphy and Lisa Watkins all of Gary IN., Michael Watkins Sr.(Sandra) and Joseph Watkins of Terre Haute. Special grandson Cory Allen. And a host of niece's, nephews and other relatives. Alvin loved his family whole heartedly as well as his country ,He was a proud Marine serving in Vietnam. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
