Andrea Nicole Shepard, 43, passed away on June 5, 2026, in Spencer, Indiana. She was born on October 26, 1982 in Bloomington, Indiana, the daughter of Max Edward Shepard and Diana Lynn Tincher.
Andrea is survived by her beloved children, Alexandrea Nicole Schriver (Jacob), Trinity Nicole Alexander (Dominic), and Colton Allen Dwigans. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Avery Rose Schriver and Benjamin Schriver. She is also survived by her loving mother, Diana Lynn Tincher; her sister, Danielle Shepard; her brother, Dustin Shepard (Lisa); her nieces and nephews, Jordan Watson, Cody Watson, Abigail Watson, and Dayton Shepard; and her soon-to-be nephew, Owen Max Nash, whom she loved and eagerly awaited meeting. She is further survived by many extended family members and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved father, Max Edward Shepard, and her children's father, Charles Allen Dwigans Jr., who was her first love.
Being a mother and grandmother brought great joy to her life. She cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. Together, they created memories filled with love, laughter, and warmth that will be treasured forever. Andrea shared a special bond with her siblings; they always loved, supported, and stood by one another through life's ups and downs. Her father was her hero; their bond was truly immeasurable, and she carried her love for him with her every day.
Andrea found happiness in life’s simple joys. Whether listening to her favorite music, exploring the outdoors, or mushroom hunting, she appreciated the beauty and peace found in everyday moments. She was rarely without a jug of Milo’s sweet tea nearby, never turned down a cup of coffee, and always enjoyed her favorite strawberry candies. She loved spending time with her fur babies, especially her favorite, Sissy Cat. She had a passion for journaling and expressing herself through writing. Andrea was an avid fan of mysteries and could often be found enjoying true crime shows. She had a remarkable ability to understand people and was a great listener who often offered thoughtful advice and comfort to those around her.
Andrea had a way of making everyone feel welcome, cared for, and important. Her kindness, strength, and spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a fighter who faced many challenges throughout her life, yet her heart remained full of love for those she held dear. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in the countless memories she leaves behind and the love that will remain with them forever.
