Anita Alice Blackburn, 75, of Hymera passed away Monday August 29, 2022 in her residence. Anita was a hairdresser for many years. She was born February 11, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to James Roy and Grace (Wilson) Hill. Anita is survived by sons, Marty Mills (Kari) and Patrick Mills; daughter, Andrea Harris (Craig); brothers, Ken Bose and Pat Hill; eight grandchildren, two great-granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Roy Hill and Grace Hill Bose Smith; husband, Al Blackburn; sisters, Mary Bose, Ramona Bose, Dorothy Hill, Norma Hill, and Jean Hill and brothers, Lyle Bose, Don Bose, Phil Bose, Perry Bose, Guy Hill, Jim Hill, and Bob Hill. She was involved with the International Order of the Oddfellows. Anita was a true animal lover and was a wonderful caregiver to many people. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
