Anita was born August 25, 1955 to Ervin and Mary Jo (Bussing) Cox in Brazil, Indiana. She attended Annunciation School through 8th grade and graduated from Brazil High School in 1974. Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Amy L. Cox (sister), Linn R. Cox (brother), Jennifer Woodburn (sister in law). She will be deeply missed by Amber (daughter) and Harold (son in law) Burnett, Sean Sons (son), Lisa Cox (sister), Joyce Cox (sister), Rebel Shorter (special friend), and her feline child Sheldon.

Anita enjoyed riding motorcycles, listening to music, loving on furry animals, horror and sci-fi movies, playing guitar and outdoor activities with family and friends.
