Annie Ruth (Eddy) Dixon, 68, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. She was born to George Eddy and Ruthie (Allen) Porter on June 13, 1957 in Terre Haute.

In her free time, Annie loved watching old television shows. She also enjoyed reading and cooking.

Annie is preceded in death by both of her parents; siblings, Mary Suggs, Docial Wimberly, Albert Porter, Marie Vance, Louise Jones, Dallas Porter, Chauncey Porter, and Larry Porter; and nieces, Dwuanna Gardner and Alicia Kay Hutchinson.

Annie is survived by her daughter, Michele Loveland (William); siblings, Patricia Porter Norman, Leon Porter, Danny Eddy (Crystal), Franklin Porter (Jessie), James Porter (Eileen), and Wayne Porter; grandchildren, Jaron Brewer, Joshua Loveland, Justin Loveland, and Shakayla Hill (Dave); great-grandchildren, Anijah, Joshua, Jr., Jason, Samiyah, Myles, Julian, Winston; special friend, Shireen Jaffe; and niece and best friend, Ida Suggs.

Visitation for Annie will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 10 am to 12 pm at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. Service is to begin at 12 pm. Online condolences may be made at www.samaritanfunerals.com
