Anthony
Cooper
July 20, 1977 – March 20, 2026
Born on July 20, 1977, and departing this life on March 20, 2026, Anthony "Coop" Cooper lived a life marked by resilience, warmth, and a heart that never stopped giving. He accepted Christ at a young age, a foundation that remained with him throughout his life. A proud graduate of North High School, he carried cherished friendships with him throughout his life.
Coop was known among family and friends for his gentle spirit, loving nature, and unforgettable sense of humor. Even through life's challenges, he met each one with courage, grace, and a smile that inspired others to keep going. He lived fully, laughed often, and loved deeply.
One of the greatest constants in his life was the love he held for his family. He cherished them beyond measure, they were his anchor, his joy, and his safe place in every storm. To Coop, family was not just important, it was everything.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Victoria Cooper, his maternal grandfather, William Mayes and his godparents, Vendetta and James Mason.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving family: his mother, Vendetta Cooper; his father, Trent Cooper (Mary); his maternal grandmother, Ozella Goodridge; his siblings, Ramon Cooper (Leslie), Anthony Cooper, Neil Cooper, Laticia Cooper, Brian Cottee (Emily), and Keisha Cork; his best friend, Irick Kelly (Mandy); along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.
Coop's presence was a blessing, his kindness a legacy, and his laughter a memory that will echo in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Though his earthly journey has ended, the joy he shared and the love he gave will continue to live on.
