Anthony "Tony" Boles, 74, of Sullivan a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, passed away at Terre Haute Regional Hospital on Saturday, December 10th 2022.  Tony was born to Red and Janace Boles in Sullivan County on January 30, 1948.  He was a Sullivan High School graduate, class of 1966.  After graduating he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps., proudly serving his country in the Vietnam War.  He was a retiree of Laborers #204 of Terre Haute, IN.  He married the love of his life Vickie Alexander Boles on October 17, 1970.  Being a grandpa meant the world to Tony.  His world was his grandchildren and they loved him as much in return.  Precededing him in death are his parents Red and Toots; grandparents Ben and Chloe Holloway, Thomas and Gustine Hunter; son Ryan Hunter; mother and father-in-law Deb and Marie Alexander; sister-in-law's Janet Grable, Debbie Tatman and her husband Don; brother-in-law Gary Alexander and ex-daughter-in-law Patty Boles.  He is survived by his wife of 52 years Vickie: sons Thane (Christy) and Blake; daughter-in-law Stephanie Johnson; grandsons Corbin and Hunter; granddaughters Kyra, Gracie, and Kennedy; great-grand daughter Titania; sisters Paula, Katha, and Lisa; sister-in-law Kathy Gambil and Sue Alexander; several nieces and nephews as well as special friends Ryan Enochs, Shone and Trinity Ashba, along with his loving care giver Kelly Duncan.  The family will hold a celebration of LIFE AT A LATER DATE. Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery.
