Barbara Ann Gambill, 85, of Terre Haute passed away on Monday, February 27, 2023.  She was born November 15, 1937, in Harrisburg, Illinois.  Barbara was the daughter of Floyd DeGraff and Elsie Creasey DeGraff. Barbara accepted Christ and was baptized at North Terre Haute Christian Church. She and Don raised their children in Maplewood Christian Church. They were instrumental in the beginnings of Agape Christian Church and Church of the Living Christ (now Cross Lane Community Church) and later were active at the Union Christian Church. Her faith is now sight. She was an avid reader and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles.  Her family fondly remembers her great cooking, homemade pies, and famous Jello.  Most of all Barbara loved her family.  Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her proudest accomplishment and greatest joy.  She will be missed by so many.

Barbara is survived by her children Donald Gambill, Jr. (Cheryl), Coleen Gambill, Dean Gambill (Anita), Kevin Gambill, Amy Frederick (Pete) and Debbie Hoar (Matt); grandchildren David Gambill (Gina), Holly Exum (Calen), Kaylie Rohrbaugh (Tyson), Michaela Collins (Alex), Brooke Taylor (Dimitri), Logan Hoar, Brittany Frederick, and Jordyn Hoar; great-grandchildren Dylan Gambill, Grayson Gambill, Octavia Taylor, and Amira Taylor; one sister Patricia Isaak, sister-in-law Betty Gambill, and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 42 years, Donald Gambill, Sr., and sisters Wanda Norris and Rose Viner.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 3, 2023 at Samaritan Funeral home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm.  Service will be Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m.  Pastor Mark Grayless will officiate.  Burial will follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery.
