Barbara L. Reeves, 91 of Franklin, IN and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Indiana Masonic Home in Franklin. She was born in Terre Haute on April 9, 1925 to John Ballantyne and Mary Ann Target Ballantyne. Barbara was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church and life member of Twelve Points Order of Eastern Star # 428. She is survived by her two sons, Frank M. Reeves (wife Melody), and Jack L. Reeves (wife Martha). Also surviving are her grandchildren: Wade Reeves (wife Kati), Diane Haver (husband Jerry), Kyle Reeves (wife Amy), Brooke Reeves, and Madison Ann Reeves, as well as her great grandchildren: Jillian Reeves, Connor Reeves, Preston Haver, Emerson Haver, Ayda Haver, Jackson Reeves, and Edison Reeves. In addition, she is survived by a special niece, Lydia Stewart. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Frank J. Reeves on December 9, 1980, and also by two sisters, Maxine Cordell and Virginia Thomas, and niece and nephew Phyllis Shreeve and John Cordell. Funeral services will be held at Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave., on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 1:00 PM, with Rev. Steve Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled for Friday from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM at Samaritan Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Indiana Masonic Home, in her memory.
