Barbara Wakefield Schlup, 85, of Terre Haute, IN passed away October 21,2021 in her sleep. Barbara graduated from Staunton High School in 1955 with her best friend Marilyn Lucas Chrisman. Survivors are Brenda Schlup (daughter), EJ Schlup (son), several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband (Emil Schlup Jr), her parents (Velma and Dennis Wakefield) mother and father-in-law (Hazel and Emil Schlup Sr)

She was employed with LJ Michaels, Meadow Home Health Care, Ermish Cleaners retiring in October 2013 from Western Indiana Community Action Agency. She was also a member of Terre Haute Eastern Star #43, Riley Eastern Stars #29, Daughters of Monean. Private burial is scheduled at Highland Lawn Cemetery.
