Obituary

Becky Elizabeth Bergherm Crow, a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026, at the age of 77.

Born in Terre Haute, Indiana, on July 9, 1949, to Bill and Barbara Bergherm, Becky will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, strength, and unwavering love for those around her. She dedicated her life to her family and friends, always offering a warm embrace, a listening ear, and her contagious smile. Becky had a gift for making people feel loved and cared for.

A graduate of Schulte High School, Becky found her calling as a CNA. Through her work, she shared her compassion, patience, and caring spirit with countless others, making a positive difference in the lives of those she served.

Becky cherished the simple joys of life—spending time with her family, listening to worship music, and watching old Westerns. Above all, her greatest joy was the love she shared with her family. The memories she created, the lessons she taught, and the love she gave will remain treasured for generations to come.

Becky’s memory will live on through her daughters, Dawn Lueken, Barbara Davis (Jeremy), Kristen Hutchins, and Katie Henderson (Jesse); her grandchildren, Lauryn, Rachel, Calvin, Joshua, Parker, Richard, Alexis, EJ, Laurissa, Dalton, Alivia , Megan, Ashley, Joey, and Tommy (Kassi) and her seven great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her siblings, Jane Patterson (Jim), Peggy Fields, Bill Bergherm, Jr. (Julie), and Mike Bergherm (Terri), as well as many extended family members and dear friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Barbara Bergherm; her sister, Diana Shafer; and her only son, Stephen Cornelius.

Though Becky is no longer with us, her love, strength, kindness, and spirit will continue through the family she cherished and the many lives she touched. Her absence will be deeply felt, but the memories of her laughter, her smile, and the love she so freely gave will remain forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Collett Park on August 21, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather together to remember and celebrate Becky’s life.

Cremation has been entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
