Leslie
September 24, 1952 – August 16, 2025
Beryle Leslie, 72, of Terre Haute, passed away peacefully at home on August 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 24, 1952, to Ted and Betty Stone.
On November 3, 1984, Beryle married the love of her life, Doug Leslie, who survives her. She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Brazzell II, and her parents.
Beryle is survived by her daughters, Tracie (Scott) Brown and Ashley (Craig) Hall; grandchildren, Roy (Brandi) Brown, Austin (Dani) Brown, and Jack Hall; and great-grandchildren, Kyndil, Dallas, and Keller Brown. She is also survived by her sister, Glenna Stone; brother-in-law, Mike (Sherri) Leslie; sister-in-law, Terri (Kevin) Boyd; special nephew, Johnny (Rachel) Leslie; as well as several other nieces and nephews. Her best friend, Heather Cross, was also a cherished part of her life.
Beryle had a deep love for animals, especially her horse, Ozzie, who was her faithful companion and her lab Maggie. She enjoyed vacationing at the beach and in the mountains, and she never missed an opportunity to cheer on her grandchildren – whether at a ballgame, school event, or race. Horseback riding brought her joy, and she will be remembered for her spirited personality, her honesty, and the boundless love she had for her family.
Beryle's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
