Betty Jean (Williams) Roback, recently of Terre Haute, IN, took her final breath on Thursday, March 7th due to complications related to a respiratory illness. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Donald Roback, daughter Freedom Clark, mother Dorothy (Quigley) Williams, father Braxton Williams, brother Joey Williams, sister Linda Williams, and her grandparents.
Betty is survived by daughters Charity Clark (Blake) of Terre Haute and Stacey Clark (Lance) of Decatur, IL, step-sons Darren Roback (Kimberly) of Creve Cour, MO, Tommy White (Kathy) of Belmont, MS, and Michael White (Amy) of Flowood, MS; step-daughter Paula Clark (Marty) of Charleston, SC; grandchildren Jeffery Clark of North Carolina, Haley Jansen, of Florida, Javery Hartfield of Zion, IL, Landon Roback and Olivia Roback of Creve Cour, Sidney Clark, Kyle Clark, and Aaron Clark of South Carolina, Miranda Kennedy (Tracy) of MS, Colin White, Cameron White, and McKenzie White of MS; great-grandchildren Benjamin Clark and James Clark; sisters Diana King, Carolyn Taylor (Tommy), Brenda Hartfield (Jeff), and Tricia Ulven (Michael); brothers Robert Williams and Donald Williams; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved very much.
Betty was born in Zion, Illinois on July 10th, 1960. She married Donald Roback on July 8th, 1989 in on Lake Michigan in Waukegan.
Betty was proud of working in Quality Assurance for 30+ years. She enjoyed spending time with family and being included in all family events, playing card games, reading, and doing anything and everything with her daughters. Betty was known for living life her way, on her terms. She loved Lake Michigan and visited as often as possible. Betty was saved and baptized as a child and recently attended Union Christian Church in Terre Haute. She was a member of the women's life group and always looked forward to seeing the ladies there.
A Celebration of Life will occur on Sunday, March 24th at the Zion-Benton Moose Lodge #667 in Zion, IL from 2pm-6pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Union Christian Church in Terre Haute or to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
