Betty Kathryn Zachary, 90, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday February 8th in Union Hospital.  She was born December 31, 1927 to Roger Ashby and Lillian Sellers Ashby in Webster County KY.  Betty was a hard working woman for many years.  She was a factory worker for 33 years in Henderson KY.  She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and a lovely friend to many.  She enjoyed traveling, spending time with friends and family, and reading the bible.  She was a huge fan of the KY Wildcats.  Some of her many talents included gardening, sewing and playing the piano.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul M Zachary; son Michael Zachary; and her five siblings. Betty is survived by her daughter-in-law Rita Elrod; two grandchildren Anthony  M Zachary (Amy); and Susan Crittenden; nine grandchildren Jessica Schultz, Victoria Godfrey (Trevor) Abby Cramer, Samantha Crittenden, Tanner Zachary, Sarah Crittenden, Savannah Crittenden, Zachary Jones, and Summer Harris; one great great grand daughter Olyvia Godfrey; and many nieces and Nephews.  Visitation for Betty will be held at Samaritan Funeral Home on 25th and Wabash on Sunday February 11th from 11-1 p.m. with services starting at 1.  Cremation will take place after.  Michael Bowman will be officiating.  Online condolences may be left at Samaritanfunerals.com
