Beverly Alice Cooper, 80, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday February 7, 2016 at 9:53 pm in Signature Healthcare. She was born January 27, 1936 in Terre Haute to Clyde Rice and Hazel (Miller) Rice. Beverly is survived by a daughter, Karen Kissinger of Euless, TX; a son. Michael Lee Cooper of Terre Haute; step-daughters, Rita Reed of Terre Haute, Dorothy Deberick of Terre Haute, and Mabel Morris of Terre Haute; a step-son, Daniel Cooper of Terre Haute, 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Arthur Charles Cooper. Beverly was a charter member of Grace Baptist Church where she developed many great friendships. In her younger years she had worked at Wheaton Glass Plant, the Goodie Shop, and the Terre Haute House. She was also delighted when she was named the Resident Activities Director at Signature Healthcare. Beverly loved her family, friends, and her roommate at Signature Healthcare very much. Visitation will be Monday February 15, 2016 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave. funeral services will be at 2:00 pm in the funeral home with Reverend James Haddix officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
