Billie Rae (Church) Johnston, 66, of Terre Haute passed away Sunday November 26, 2017 in her residence. She was retired from Union Hospital. Billie was born October 16, 1951 in Terre Haute to William Frederick Church and Margaret Mae (Akers) Church. She is survived by a daughter, Tabatha Skaggs and husband Patrick; sons, Tony Ringeo and wife Kim and Todd Ringeo and wife Rosie Posey; sisters, Patti Bullock and husband Robert, Kathryn Sparks, Emma Hinds and husband Buster, Wilma Barnes and husband Robert, and Marsha Hay and husband Steve; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Ringeo, who died May 6, 1996; sisters, Judy Shuler, Susan Orndorff, Peggy Church, and Jennifer Church and brothers, Paul Akers and James Akers. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Saturday December 2, 2017 at 12 noon in Union Baptist Church, 4075 E Harlan Dr, Terre Haute, IN 47802. Burial in Highland Lawn Cemetery will be at a later date.
