Billy Ray Folsom, 74, of Edinburgh, Indiana died Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at The Waters of Greencastle, Indiana.  He was born on January 14, 1951, to Harold Folsom, Jr. and Lucille Eileen (Wininger) Folsom.


Billy is survived by his daughter Melinda Armstrong (Randy Nichols); siblings Robert Folsom, Frederick Vaughn Folsom, Pamala Kay Lagle, Marilyn Sue Hazelwood, Lillie Jean Cales, and Lori Ann Tincher; grandchildren Anika Dawn Folsom and Zachary Allan Nichols; great-grandchildren Dean Samuel Alexander and Amara Kendall Alexander; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend and roommate of over 20 years Paige Hubbard.

Billy was preceded in death by both his parents; and siblings Dennis Eugene Folsom and Carolyn Jean Durham.

Billy served in both the Navy and the National Guard.  He was a member of the American Legion and of the VFW.  Billy loved not only listening to music, but singing and playing the guitar as well.  He also enjoyed fishing.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday June 1, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Central Christian Church, 10 W Van Trees St., Washington, Indiana.47501
