Billy E. Wicks, 79, of Terre Haute passed away Friday August 19, 2022 in Gibson Family Hospice. He was born January 22, 1943 in Terre Haute to Thomas T. and Gladys (Turpen) Wicks. Billy is survived by a son, Ryan Wicks; daughters, Kelly Wicks Thompson, Sherry Hydrick, and Terry Strouse; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Iris (Kent) Wicks, who died August 2019; sisters, Jean Smith and Vivian; and brothers, Dennis Shake, Gary Wicks, and Dale Wicks.
