Bobbi Jean Strain, 62, of Terre Haute passed away Friday July 14, 2017 at 12:35 pm in Union Hospital. She was born April 9, 1955 in Terre Haute to Robert Strain and Reva (Sturman) Strain. Bobbi is survived by daughters, Laura Pound, Jasan Pound, and Brieanna Bell; sons, Corey Pound and Donald Bell; grandchildren, Zoee Miller, Kenneth Miller, Tyler Pendleton, and Dustin Pendleton; a sister, Lonna Watson and a brother, John Strain. Bobbi was a member of First Prairie Creek Baptist Church and earned a Master's in Business from Tampa College. Graveside services will be Monday July 17, 2017 at 10:00 am in New Harmony Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Dobson officiating. Burial will then be in New Harmony Cemetery. Samaritan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Education of Brieanna Bell Memorial Fund c/o First Financial Bank.
