Bonnie L. (Dalton) Lawhead, 83, of Clay City, Indiana passed away at Regional Hospital in Terre Haute on July 24, 2018. She was born August 7, 1934 to Kenneth Dalton and Flona Evaleen Bonnewell. She was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star and attended the Eastside Church of Christ. Bonnie received a teaching degree in home economics with a minor in science. She worked as a home health aide and a clinical psychologist as well.

Bonnie is survived by her sons; Orval "Sandy" Lawhead II (Kathryn) and Gerald A Lawhead (Rikki), and four grandchildren; Ian, Josh, Benny and David. She is preceded in death by her husband Orval of 62 years, whom she married in 1956, and her parents.
