Brendon Strother May, 46, of Terre Haute, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 5, 2022.  Brendon was born in Terre Haute on August 20, 1975 to Guy May and Heather (Piety) May.

Brendon loved spending time with his fiancée and daughter. His daughter was the light of his life. He was also a voracious reader and a talented artist who specialized in drawing portraits. He loved tinkering with his scooters and making people laugh with his wry, witty sense of humor.

Brendon was a graduate of Indiana State University with a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems.  He served in the army from 1993 to 1997, specializing in combat engineering.

Brendon is survived by his fiancée, Jessica Hudak; one daughter, Hailey May; his father, Guy May; his mother, Heather May; three brothers, David May, Joseph (Megan) May, and Nathan (Kacy) May; one sister, Melissa (Christopher) Barrett; his grandmother, Ruby (Vahey) Piety; former spouse, Dorothy "Dottie" Taylor and stepson, Nathan (Jesse) Moshos; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Catherine (Pratte) May, and Robert Piety.

A virtual Celebration of Life is planned for Sunday February 13, 2022 at 2pm and a graveside service will be held in the spring.
