Brian "Can't Get right" Gilbert, 46, of Terre Haute passed away on Thursday July 22, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. He was born August 26, 1974 to George Leland and Alma Virginia (Thompson) Gilbert. Survivors include his father; sisters, Tammy Beasley (Frank), Melinda Gilbert, and Lola Garloch (Mike); brothers, George Gilbert (Cindy) and Wayne Gilbert; nieces and nephews, Erica Higginbotham (Rob), Terrie Lynn Racey, John Beasley, Brianna Racey, Frank Beasley, Chelsea Paul, Santana Beasley (Sean), Cody Gilbert, and Jessica Gilbert; close friends, Junior Myers, Phillip Foster (Kristi Abolt), John Bishop, and Trey Blaine. Brian was preceded in death by his mother; aunt, Rita Thompson; uncles, Bill Thompson, Vernon Thompson, and Lloyd Thompson; great-niece, Payton Eggers and great-nephew, Milo Young. Brian brought the life of the party and will be loved and missed forever. Visitation will be Friday July 30, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home with funeral services at 3:00 pm in the funeral home.
