Bryan Joseph Owen, 61, of Terre Haute passed away Wednesday January 1, 2020. He was born June 11, 1958 in Oak Harbor, WA to Bobby Joe and Leah Ruth (Chambers) Owen. He is survived by sons, David Owen and Charles "Scott" Owen; brother Scott Owen; and a niece and nephew, Brittney Owen Hjelseth and Nicholas Owen. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bryan grew up in Farmersburg and lived in and around Terre Haute during his adult years. He had worked at Great Dane Trailers and for the Railroad. He attended Farmersburg Elementary and North Central High School where he was involved in baseball, football, and wrestling. He also played trumpet in the band and played Taps at several military funerals. He enjoyed bowling, softball, fishing, and camping.
