Carla M. Sturm, 73, of Terre Haute passed away Thursday August 24, 2023 in her residence. She retired in 2014 from the Vigo County School Corporation. She was born October 12, 1949 in Terre Haute to Carl and Lilias (Gose) Liddle. Carla is survived by her daughters, Lori Fugate (Rick), Kara Sturm, and Shari Elder (David); brother, Larry Liddle; grandchildren, Tiffany Fields (Teddie), John Michael Fugate (Paige), Rebekah Cameron (Casey Boyed), Sabrena Hoggatt (Kenny), Tristan Elder, Taelyn Elder, and Harold Cooper, Jr. and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 55 years, Donald L. Sturm; her parents, and a granddaughter, Taylor Elder. Carla was a graduate of Gerstmeyer High School.
