Charles "Chuck" Purcell, 62, passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 14, 2019 in Terre Haute Indiana. Chuck was the son of Charles and Irene (Walker) Purcell, born on April 30, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan.  Later in life Chuck made his home in Terre Haute, retiring from Aramark Uniform Services in 2007.  Chuck served as Past S.A.L. Commander of the American Legion Post 104.  He was also an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan.  He leaves behind to cherish his memories three sisters and one brother.  Dodie McCormick, David (Margaret) Purcell, Rita (Rick) Mills and Pam (Herb) Elliott.  Special Friends Ron Janes, Skip Banks and his beloved dog Ricci, as well as several nieces and nephews.  Per Chuck's wishes cremation has been chosen and no services are scheduled.  In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Chuck's memory to the Terre Haute Humane Society.  Online condolences may be left at Samaritanfunerals.com.
