Charles William Deverick Jr, 81, passed away February 3, 2023.  He was born on April 21, 1941 to Charles Deverick and Edna Deverick.  Charles was preceded in death both parents as well as his siblings Stella and Freddy.  He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy; children Lee, Duane, Tracey, Ron, Lou, and Chuck; step-children Tim, Christina, and Dawn; brothers Steve, Paul, and Joseph "Eddie"; sister Carolyn; 23 grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.  Charles was a former member of Forty and Eight, Eagles, and American Legion.  He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and tinkering with cars.  Visitation for Charles will be held at Samaritan Funeral Home on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM with funeral services starting at 2:00 PM. Burial at Durham Cemetery will follow.  Pastor Dr. Chuck Cooley will be officiating.
