Cindy Malea Mathis, 56, of Jasonville passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at her residence surrounded by family.  She was born October 14, 1963 in Martinsville, Indiana to John Brawley and Sheila Duckworth Branam.

Cindy loved music.  She and Jerry enjoyed going to concerts.  They also enjoyed going to races.  Cindy was an animal lover.  She raised chickens and loved all animals.  It always seemed she was rescuing a cat or dog and bringing them home.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jerry Mathis, daughter Cassie Dalton, son Travis Mathis (Ashley), grandson Banx Mathis, mother Sheila Branam, sister Susan Patterson (Ray), brothers Gary Wagner, Tony Brawley, and Barry Wagner, as well as several nieces and nephews.  Cindy is preceded in death by her father John Brawley and stepfather Michael Suter.
