Clint "Butch" Roberts, age 71, of Terre Haute, IN, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 after struggling with ongoing health issues. He passed quietly surrounded by family, and will rest in peace.
Butch was born in Terre Haute, IN on September 24, 1944. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma and William Lewis Roberts, and stepmother, Mildred Roberts. He was a brother to Liz Carter, William "Billy" Roberts and John Treager.
Butch proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1963-1967. Later, he worked for several years at Alcan. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, but most importantly, being with his family.
Butch was married to Shannon "Sue" Peperak, also of Terre Haute, IN. He is immediately survived by his four loving children and their spouses, Clint E. Roberts (Christine) of York, PA, Earl Roberts of Terre Haute, Katie Roberts Marshall (David) of Richmond, KY, and Kathy Roberts Hartle (Jeremy) of Terre Haute. Butch's legacy will continue to bless the world through his seven beautiful grandchildren, Katlyn Anderson, Haley Pruitt, Jacob Roberts, Anna Roberts, Amanda Roberts,William Roberts, and Ryan Roberts, all who loved him dearly.
Funeral services will be held at Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave., on Monday, February, 1, 2016 at 1:00 PM in Terre Haute, IN. Friends and relatives are invited to visit prior to the services from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimers Association, in his memory.
