Daniel Allen "Dan" Nowicki, 64, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday September 28, 2024 in Regional Hospital. He was born August 20, 1960 in Terre Haute to Floyd and Zimenia Louise (Carlisle) Nowicki. Dan is survived by his wife, Janine (Johnson) Nowicki; sons, Steven P. Nowicki, Matthew R. Nowicki, Aaron K. Nowicki, and Lee Barrett; daughters, Kaitlyn Nowicki, and Brittney Barrett. Dan had lots of grandchildren that brightened his day. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Georgie Wiles, Debbie Wright, other siblings and lots of nieces, nephews and cousins. Dan was part of Local Union #204, he loved sports through out his years and pushed all his kids to do their best. Later in Life he found Christ as his Lord and Savior. He also helped at the St. Benedict and St. Patrick soup Kitchens and he loved to take road trips with his wife. He enjoyed gardening and canning all throughout the years in the warmer month's. Dan proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Visitation will be Thursday October 10, 2024 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home with a memorial service starting at 12:00 pm.
