Daniel R. Mattox, 63, of Carbon passed away Sunday May 22, 2022 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. He was a maintenance technician at Morris Manufacturing. Daniel was born January 2, 1959 in Terre Haute to William and Ruth (Stedman) Mattox. He is survived by his wife of forty years, Emily (Watkins) Mattox; daughter, Dannyelle Mattox; sons, Alvin Mattox (Amber) and Matthew Mattox (Betty Theisz); sister, Connie Cotton; brother, John Mattox; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Anna, Atticus, and Keely; sister-in-law, Judy Mattox and several nieces and nephews. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William Mattox, Jr., Roger Mattox (Marie), sisters, Mary Noble (Ed), Naomi Price (Richard), Carol Lawson (David); sister-in-law, Freda Mattox and brother-in-law, Jack Cotton.
