Daniel W. Shepard was born December 16,1948 and passed away June 21, 2019.  He was a life long resident of Terre Haute, Indiana.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, his late wife Shelby, and his brother Paul K. Crabb.  He is survived by his two children, son Kenny L. Shepard (Jo) of Terre Haute, Indiana and daughter Christy A. Howe (Rick) of Franklin, Indiana, as well as several grandchildren & great grandchildren, sisters Rebecca (Bill)Smith and Mary Wells, brother Joseph Crabb and several nieces and nephews.

Daniel loved spending time with his family, he loved fishing, camping and visiting state parks. He loved animals of all sorts.  Daniel worked many years at Union Hospital in their Maintenance Department.

Daniel's wishes were to be cremated with no services.  A Celebration of Life will be held July 14, 2019 at the American Legion Post 104 from 12pm - 3pm.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society.  Online condolences may be made to www.samartianfunerals.com.
