Danvers C. Boyce, Jr, 91, of Terre Haute passed away Tuesday July 11, 2017 at 9:38 am in his residence. He was a correctional officer with Federal Bureau of Prisons. He was born October 27, 1925 in Terre Haute to Danvers C. Boyce and Selina (Mayham) Boyce. Danvers is survived by his wife, Alta (Spencer) Boyce; a son, Johnny Boyce and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sons, Danny Boyce and James Boyce. He was a US Navy veteran of WWII. Graveside military services will be Tuesday July 18, 2017 at 10:00 am in Grandview Cemetery provided by Vigo County Veterans Honor Guard. Samaritan Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
