David Eugene Caton, 71, of Terre Haute passed away on April 12, 2026, at Union Hospital. He was born on January 21, 1955, to Sidney and Betty Caton. David shared 52 years of his life with his partner, Debbie Hamilton.

David is survived by his partner Debbie, daughter Mendy Hankins, grandchildren Jerry Hankins III (Mavery), Austin Hankins (Amber), and Brandon Hankins, great grandchildren Vera Hankins and Lincoln Hankins, and a sister. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, son David Caton, Jr., and a great granddaughter Eleanor Hankins.
