David A.
Miller
June 4, 1966 – July 16, 2023
David Alan Miller, 57, of Roachdale, Indiana passed away July 16th, 2023 surrounded by family and friends. David was born June 4th, 1966 in Greencastle, Indiana. He was the oldest son of James Edward Miller and Sharon Sue (Bell) Miller. David worked doing flooring and for his father's garage as a mechanic for a big part of his life and the other part he spent working side by side with his uncle Stan and brother Brian. David was a man full of life that never met a stranger. He loved to be out in the woods hunting mushrooms and ginseng with family and friends. Another one of his favorite past times was fishing. David enjoyed anything that had to do with being with family and sharing stories and laughter. David was a jokester and loved making people laugh. He loved his daughters and was a very proud grandpa to his grandchildren. Being able to see them and do anything with him would put a smile on his face that would outshine the sun. Being a grandpa was one of his greatest joys. He was always willing to listen, give advice, sit in comfortable silence, or lend a helping hand if he was able. He was loved by many and will be truly missed.
He is survived by his daughters Anita (Dmitry) Oberneder, Autumn (Daniel) Nicolai, and Amber (Mark) Jarnagan all residing in Arizona. He is also survived by his sisters and brother: Jamie (Dennis) Grimes of Terre Haute, Jennifer Farley of Crawfordsville and Brian (Mary) Miller of Indianapolis. David is also survived by eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents and grandparents.
There will be a celebration of life for David on August 4th, 2023 at the Roachdale Christian Church at 202 Franklin Street, Roachdale, Indiana from 3pm to 6pm. Please feel free to come and celebrate David's life.
