Dawn Lynn Galloway

February 22 1960-March 6th 2024

Dawn left this earthly life on March 6th 2024. She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana to Patricia Haynes Galloway and Gerald Galloway.

Dawn grew up in Terre Haute and attended Lange Elementary, Chauncey Rose Junior High and Terre Haute North. She made many friends and remained close with them. She worked at several area nursing homes as a CNA.

In 1989 she moved to Snellville, Georgia to continue the work she loved. She lived there until her death. Dawn lived in Georgia but remained true to her Indiana roots as was proven by her collection of sweat shirts supporting Indiana University, the Indiana Pacers and Indianapolis colts. She was a NASCAR fan and Rusty Wallace was her favorite driver.

Dawn loved vacationing at Tybee Island and in the east Tennessee mountains with her best friend Belinda Bennett.

Dawn was preceded in death by her parents and younger brother James Bradley Galloway. She is survived by her brother Mike Davis and wife Evelyn and Sister Sherri Hughes and her husband Kevin. She had two nieces Shannon Loudermilk and Whitney Duffy/ three Nephews, Matt, Austin and Nick Hughes. She had several great nieces and nephews. Dawn had too many close friends to list. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. In Dawn's memory, if you would like to make a donation to your favorite charity and always be Kind to one another.

Memorial service will be at Samaritan Funeral Home at 25th and Wabash from 11:00am till 1:00pm on May 4th. A celebration of life will follow at Voiture 21 of the 40/8 located at 934 N 5th Street in Terre Haute.
