Dawn L. (Hadley) Nelson, 57, of Clay City, Indiana passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026, in her home.  She was born to Wilbur B. Hadley and Phyllis (Perry) Hadley on June 6, 1968, in Bunker Hill, Indiana.  Dawn married the love of her life, Ronald Nelson, on May 6, 1995, and was a devoted housewife.  She enjoyed listening to music, cooking, and traveling.

Dawn is preceded in death by both of her parents and her twin brothers, Jack Hadley and Jerry Hadley.

Dawn is survived by her husband; son, Brandon Blackburn; daughter, Salena Nelson; brother, Christopher Hadley; sisters, Debbie Jones and DeeAnn; 2 grandchildren Mackey and Rhett Blackburn; several nieces and nephews; several cousins; several aunts and uncles; and a host of other family members and friends.
