Dean George Goranson, 77, of Terre Haute passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026.He was born on December 24, 1948, in Kokomo, Indiana to Charles Goranson and Juanita Boyer Goranson. Dean was a 1968 graduate of Kokomo High School. He also attended Ball State University.Dean worked in sales and insurance. He moved to Terre Haute in 2010. Dean loved cats and enjoyed reading.

He is survived by nephew John Delaplane IV, niece Kris- tin Coryell, and friend Pattye Palmer.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Juanita Goranson, and sister Carol.

Cremation was entrusted to Samaritan Funeral Home. The family of Dean would like to extend a thank-you to the staff of Signature Healthcare for the care and compassion given to him during his time there.
