Deanna Hope McCoskey, 83, of Terre Haute passed away Friday October 13, 2023 in Signature Healthcare, She was born April 24, 1940 in Terre Haute to Robert Dewey and Norma (Dreher) Moreland. Deanna is survived by her daughters, Christina Whitney, Vicki Barrett (Gary), and Dawn McCoskey; son, Randy McCoskey (Sherry); brothers, Robert L. Moreland and his wife Johanna "Jo", who was more like a sister to Deanna, and Kenneth E. Moreland (Dorothy); 10 grandchildren, many loving great-grandchildren and her friend for over 70 years, Carolyn Duby Biggs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald McCoskey, who died January 23, 2001 and sons, Martin McCoskey, Sr. and Kenneth Biggs. Deanna was a long-time member of the Riley American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a volunteer cook there. She attended St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed reading, doing crafts, and working puzzles. A Celebration of Life will be held on November 4, 2023 at 2 pm at the Riley Legion.
