Dolores Theresa (Janiszewski) Bean, daughter of Leo and Catherine (Janiszewski) Janis of Detroit, MI born April 7, 1926, died September 17, 2020 at the age of 94. She was married to Charles George Bean II for 63 years. She had one brother, Lee Anthony Janis and one sister, Lorraine (Janis) Doyle.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2010 and he first born daughter, Darlene Kathleen in 2001. She is survived by her son Charles George Bean III of Terre Haute, IN her daughter Diana Dolores VanDam of South Lyon, MI., six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Dolores resided in Houghton Lake MI for 40 years and was a faithful and active parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. She loved bowling and spent several years as captain of her league. She enjoyed watching golf on TV and in her youth playing softball.
