On September 11, 2024, Donna Kay Jones was ushered into the presence of the Lord. Donna was born to Richard and Erlene Stanley on June 27, 1948. Donna was married to Paul Jones. She had four children, Jeff Knotts (Kerri), Kim Knotts (Brad Galenski), Brad Knotts (Christy), and Anita Hoffman. She has one brother surviving, Mike Stanley and brother Timmy Paul Stanley (deceased); twelve grandkids, Paige Price (Boaz), Rayven Knotts (Melidian), Brett Chastain (Jessica), Trent Bolenbaugh (Carrie), Jonna Bolenbaugh, Derek Snyder (Brittney), Craig Snyder, Lindsey Hoffman, Carlie Ridgway (Devan), Dylan Knotts (Curtni), Maddison Barbarick (Aaron), and Layla Knotts; nineteen great grandkids, one great great grandchild, many cousins, and extended family. Donna lived a full life and enjoyed her family and friends. She worked many years for WVCF. We are thankful for the last several weeks of peace Donna had. We know we will see her again. There are plans for a Celebration of Life service in November. Samaritan Funeral Home was entrusted with cremation.
