Doris W. Hilst, 86, of Terre Haute passed away Saturday April 11, 2020 in Southwood Health Care. She was born December 22, 1933 in Sullivan County to William E. and Sylvia A. (Yates) Lucas. Doris is survived by her daughters, Teresa Dunn and Terri VanLannen; sons, Floyd McKinney, Lloyd McKinney, and Michael Clinkenbeard; a brother, Paul Lucas; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by grandchildren, Brian Dunn and Melissa Dunn; sisters, Helena Lodean Russell and Naomi Crist; brothers, Wayne Lucas, Harold Lucas, Earl Lucas, and James "Buddy" Lucas; first husband, Floyd McKinney, Sr. and second husband, Alfred Hilst. Family graveside services will he held on Wednesday April 15, 2020 at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Pastor Rick May officiating. Samaritan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
