Drew Michael Abshier was born on September 13, 1995, in Evansville, Indiana. He is survived by his mother whom he affectionately called "Buddy". Anyone who knew Drew knows that he had a heart bigger than the world he lived in for such a brief, but unforgettable, time. He was always willing to give anything and ask for nothing in return. He had many friends and family members who will miss him forever! To quote Drew, himself, "I love my family, blood and otherwise!" He will always be remembered for his huge smile and even bigger sense of humor. His soul will live on forever through the love of his family and friends. Visitation will be Friday March 17, 2017 from 2:00 until 4:00 pm in Samaritan Funeral Home, 2425 Wabash Ave. with a Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 pm in the funeral home with the family and friends sharing their memories and stories about Drew. Drew's family and friends will also be holding a candlelight vigil at Fairbanks Park at 8:30 PM on Sunday, March 19th.
