Earl Raymond Quick III, 45, of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away Monday, November 6, 2023.
Earl was born of Earl Raymond Quick II and Barbara City on December 3, 1977 in Farmersburg, Indiana. He was a graduate of North Central High School and later pursued welding and fabrication courses at Ivy Tech Institute of Technology.
Earl was a skilled welder. His expertise even led him to compete in the Komatsu Welding Olympics in Osaka, Japan, where he won the 2nd place silver medal. Earl served as an E-4 Specialist: in both the Indiana and Georgia Army National Guards.
He was a talented drummer and enjoyed many hobbies, especially outdoor recreations: hunting and fishing.
Above all, Earl's greatest joy was being with his family. He was happiest when spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Earl is survived by his parents Earl Quick II and Barbara City; his two brothers, Paul Dwayne Quick and Evan Jewel Quick; his children, stepson James K. Fields, Codi Jannelle Quick, Ian Bryce Quick, and Sara Rose-Marie Quick; and two grandchildren, Jason Ray Barnhart and Riley Jannelle Barnhart.
A visitation is planned to be held at New Life Fellowship, 1851 Chamberlain St., Terre Haute, IN 47803, Monday, November 13, 2023, 12:00 pm. A memorial service will follow beginning at 2:00pm.
