Ed Morgan, 63, passed away on October 21st surrounded by his family after a short but intense battle with cancer. He grew up on his family farm in Myrtle, Missouri where he learned the importance of hard work. He spent much of his life in Smithton, Illinois where he was an active member of the community for nearly 30 years. He was proceeded in death by his parents, Daniel and Lucy, and his brothers Leslie and Richard. He is survived by his brother Don Morgan, his daughters Torie Morgan and Jessica Raback-Schink (husband Ben), and granddaughter Angie Raback-Schink. A celebration of life will be held on November 4th at his residence in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Another celebration will be held at the Smithton Senior Center on November 12th. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Lustgarten Foundation or Barnes Jewish Hospital.
